SUMMARY OF OPPORTUNITY
The Leadership Happiness Institute is seeking a creative, innovative, and mission-aligned Program Developer to join our team. As a Program Developer, you will design, implement, and refine leadership and organizational development programs that align with our mission of enhancing well-being and fostering positive organizational change. Using our proprietary model and framework, you will create impactful interventions, workshops, and resources that empower individuals and teams to achieve sustainable personal and professional growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on working independently and brings a creative and innovative approach to program design and delivery. Candidates with expertise in positive psychology, curriculum development, and organizational behavior are strongly preferred. If you are highly organized, passionate about leadership development, social science, and happiness, and excel in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment, we want to hear from you. This position is freelance, with remote flexibility and occasional in-person meetings in Houston, TX.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Program Design and Development:
Develop and implement leadership and organizational development programs aligned with our proprietary model and framework.
Design engaging curricula for workshops, seminars, and online learning modules that integrate positive psychology and leadership principles.
Create tools, resources, and templates to support participants in achieving sustained personal and organizational success.
Content Delivery and Facilitation:
Collaborate with facilitators and coaches to ensure programs are effectively delivered to individuals and teams.
Incorporate evidence-based methodologies to maximize participant engagement and learning outcomes.
Evaluation and Continuous Improvement:
Monitor program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing feedback and performance data.
Refine and adapt programs to meet evolving client needs and organizational goals.
Collaboration and Engagement:
Work collaboratively with The Leadership Happiness Institute team to enhance and expand program offerings.
Contribute to thought leadership initiatives that align with the institute’s mission to promote happiness and leadership excellence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, leadership development, or a related field.
Proven ability to design and implement engaging and impactful learning experiences for individuals and teams.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
Preferred Experience:
Expertise in positive psychology and its application in leadership and organizational development.
Experience developing curricula for both in-person and virtual delivery formats.
Familiarity with learning management systems and online education platforms.
Background in facilitation or workshop delivery for leadership development.
